Consorzio di Tutela del Primitivo di Manduria – Contest for Branding & Visual Identity

The organization “Consorzio di Tutela del Primitivo di Manduria DOC” promoted a graphic design contest for its new logo and the application of various elements of communication, in order to promote the excellence of the wine to activate a greater interest to subjects users of the brand.
For the visual identity it was created a logo with a graphic original sign, distinctive and linear, breaking the round classic shape and Greek-Latin iconography of the old brand, to be placed in a more modern and high-impact view thanks to new shapes and colors.
The logo consists of an iconic part recalling the sequence of the grapes that turn into wooden barrels, and a textual part with a precise choice of the font.
The project was ranked in 3rd place on more than 80 projects submitted.
